Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction while ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability. Provide donor education regarding general health and counseling on unacceptable test results. Assist in employee training and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. Work involves standing and sitting for up to four hours daily, with potential exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and extreme cold in plasma freezers. Requires current state licensure as an RN, LPN, LVN, Paramedic, or EMT, plus CPR certification.
