RN - Graduate Nurse Residency, Mercy Hospital South

Provide patient care in Critical Care units including Neuro Step Down, Med Surg ICU, and Cardiovascular Step Down while utilizing the nursing process and maintaining professional accountability. Coordinate patient care with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Participate in an 8–16 week hands-on clinical training experience featuring one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and structured sessions focused on key nursing skills. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Work alongside experienced nurse mentors and nurse educators to develop clinical judgment and confidence.
