RN - Graduate Nurse Residency, Critical Care, Mercy South

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in Critical Care units while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Engage in an 8–16 week hands-on clinical training experience featuring one-on-one mentoring, preceptor support, and structured classroom sessions focused on key nursing skills. Participate in leadership guidance from nurse educators and unit leaders within a supportive environment where questions are encouraged. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information consistent with Mercy Service Standards.
