RN - Graduate Nurse Residency, Critical Care, Mercy South

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in Critical Care units while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Participate in an 8–16 week hands-on clinical training experience featuring one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and leadership coaching from nurse educators. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Complete required certifications within 30 days of hire.
