Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in Critical Care units while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate patient care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Participate in an 8–16 week hands-on clinical training experience featuring one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and structured sessions led by nurse educators and unit leaders. Develop clinical judgment and confidence within a supportive environment where questions are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
- Previous hospital experience helpful but not required

- Specialty certifications
- Acute care or clinical experience
