RN - Graduate Nurse Residency, Critical Care, Mercy South

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in Critical Care units while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate patient care with other departments and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Participate in an 8–16 week hands-on clinical training experience featuring one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and structured sessions focused on key nursing skills and patient care scenarios. This role supports new graduate nurses transitioning to practicing professionals within the Neuro Step Down, Med Surg ICU, and Cardiovascular Step Down units.
