Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards. Precept new healthcare staff and guide competency validation through clinical orientation supported by Clinical Educators. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency for those new to the organization. Requires state licensure as an RN, recent graduation from an accredited nursing program, and approximately six months of ICU or PCU experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. Includes a 3-Year Incentive Bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- ~6 months of ICU or PCU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Shift: Day and Night Rotation
