Job Summary
Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Educate patients on procedural expectations, surgical topics, and medication plans. Work nights on the 30-bed Medical A floor, caring for chronically ill patients requiring multidisciplinary treatment plans. Maintain current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 36 hours per week, Nights
