Job Summary
Flexible Registered Nurse role within Mercy's GIG program across Mercy St. Louis and surrounding Missouri facilities. Pick day or night shifts with no guaranteed hours, including 4/8/12 hour options and shift incentives. Requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience in bedside nursing with specific certifications as applicable (BLS for Med Surg/Behavioral Health/Women's Health; ACLS for Critical Care; PALS for ED). Epic experience preferred. The position emphasizes scheduling flexibility, with the Gig Nursing Program operating on a minimum hour commitment and potential last-minute cancellations. Facilities include Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health including L&D and M&B across multiple Mercy locations in MO. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU specialties
- BLS for Med Surg, Behavioral Health and Women's Health (L&D, M&B); ACLS for Critical Care; PALS for ED
