Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process across Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health units. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Participate in the Gig Nursing Program by scheduling a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days, remaining available on short notice, and accepting flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Work various shifts including day or night rotations without weekend or holiday restrictions, subject to last-minute cancellations. Maintain a current compact RN license and required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS depending on specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current compact RN license
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side RN experience for ED, ICU, and other specialties
- BLS certification for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B)
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department (ED)
- Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift
- Responsibility for scheduling a minimum number of hours
- Availability on short notice
