Job Summary
Flexible RN GIG (PRN/Per Diem) across Mercy South and surrounding communities. Provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Choose day or night shifts with no weekend/holiday/shift requirement, with 40/hour base pay plus variable shift incentives. Roles span Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health (L&D, M&B) across Mercy locations in MO. Requires RN licensure and active employment in the hiring state or compact licensure; minimum bedside RN experience (1 year Med-Surg; 2 years for ED/ICU) and relevant certifications (BLS; ACLS/PALS as applicable). W-2 employment with flexible scheduling, 4/8/12 hour shifts, and potential 30 hours per week; lifting and physical demands noted.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent specialty-specific bed-side RN experience for ED/ICU (as applicable)
- BLS (and ACLS/PALS as required by department)
