Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care across Emergency, Intensive Care, Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health departments at Mercy South locations. Coordinate care with other caregivers while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including lifting 50 pounds and prolonged standing, across various 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts. Earn $40/hour plus variable incentives while scheduling a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days. Maintain current RN licensure and required specialty-specific experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent specialty specific bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Responsibility for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
