Job Summary
Conduct patient care using the nursing process across Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health departments at Mercy Perry and surrounding locations. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality. Schedule a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days with flexibility to work day or night shifts, subject to last-minute cancellations. Earn $40/hour plus variable shift incentives as a W-2 employee. Requires current RN license, one year of Med-Surg experience (or two years for specialties), and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent specialty specific bed-side RN experience for ED, ICU, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health specialties
- BLS certification for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B), and Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Availability on short notice
