Job Summary
Flexible RN gig across Mercy facilities in Missouri (St. Louis area and surrounding locations) offering per diem, PRN, and shift-flexible opportunities with incentives. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating patient care with other departments, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to Mercy standards. Roles cover Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health (L&D, M&B) with shifts ranging 4, 8, or 12 hours and no guaranteed hours. Requires ability to pick up day or night shifts, maintain an RN license in the hiring state, and meet the gig nursing program scheduling requirements; W-2 employment with benefits is available for eligible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience (Med Surg); two years for ED/ICU/other specialties
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as required for specialty areas (ACLS for Critical Care, PALS for ED)
