Job Summary
Conduct patient care utilizing the nursing process across Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health departments at Mercy Lincoln and surrounding facilities. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Participate in the Gig Nursing Program by scheduling a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days while remaining available on short notice for last-minute cancellations. Work various shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, including day or night options, with a maximum of 30 hours weekly. Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly while standing and walking for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent specialty specific bed-side RN experience for ED, ICU, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health specialties
- BLS certification for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B), and Critical Care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for Emergency Department
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Availability on short notice
