Job Summary
Flexible RN Gig (PRN/Per Diem) across Mercy facilities in Missouri. Provides patient care using the nursing process, coordinates with departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality. Offers scheduling flexibility with day or night shifts; no guaranteed hours, with a minimum commitment (12 hours every 90 days) and a maximum of 30 hours per week. Roles span Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health (L&D, M&B). Requires RN license and adherence to state board requirements; BSN preferred; certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable; Epic experience advantageous. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for ≥32 hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU/etc.
- BLS required for Med Surg/Behavioral Health/Women's Health; ACLS for CC; PALS for ED; Epic experience preferred
