Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients across Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health departments. Maintain professional accountability for care provision, coordinate patient care with other departments, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Participate in the Gig Nursing Program by scheduling a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days, being available on short notice, and accepting flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Submit to last-minute shift cancellations and maintain current RN licensure within the hiring state.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent specialty specific bed-side RN experience
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- For Med Surg, Behavioral Health and Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) - BLS
- For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
- For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS
