Job Summary
Flexible RN gig with per-diem/shifting availability across Mercy facilities (St. Louis, Festus, Cape Girardeau, Dexter, and more). Pick day or night shifts; no weekend/holiday or shift requirements. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, coordinate care with other departments, and support optimal care outcomes in Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, Med-Surg, and Women’s Health units. Requires active RN license and recent bedside RN experience; certification requirements vary by specialty. Compensation is $40/hour with variable shift incentives; W-2 employment; minimum 12 hours every 90 days and up to 30 hours per week, with shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure
- Experience: 1 year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; 2 years for ED/ICU (specific to specialty)
- Preferred: BSN
- Certifications: BLS for Med Surg/Behavioral Health/Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B); ACLS for CC; PALS for ED; Epic experience optional
