Job Summary
Provide patient care across Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, and Labor & Delivery units while maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Schedule a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days, remain available on short notice, and accept flexible shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours, including day or night rotations and potential last-minute cancellations. Requires a current compact RN license and recent bed-side experience; BLS certification is mandatory, with ACLS and PALS needed for ED roles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current compact RN license
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for ED, L&D, etc.
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Women's Health (L&D)
- BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications for Emergency Department (ED)
- Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift
- Responsibility for scheduling a minimum number of hours
- Availability on short notice
- Flexibility
- Subject to last minute shift cancellation
- W-2 Employee status
- Minimum of 12 hours worked every 90 days
- 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available
