Job Summary
Prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care while delivering nursing services using the nursing process according to hospital protocols. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff while advocating for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy and dignity. This role utilizes specialized training in GI special procedures within a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP)
- Certification in specialty area
- One (1) year of experience in acute care setting
- 15+ years of service
- Internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021
