Job Summary
Provide patient care in the GI Lab for diagnosis screening and treatments, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder cases. Utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate patient care with other departments, and maintain patient confidentiality. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday based on department needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
