Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment for assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to support endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures. Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, manage patient education, and oversee recovery care while maintaining professional accountability. Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with Mercy service standards. Requires GI Lab experience, an active Missouri RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Schedule is PRN.
Required Qualifications
- GI Lab experience
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license in Missouri or Compact State and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and reaching
- BLS (within 30 days of hire if not current)
- ACLS
