Job Summary
Provide patient care in the GI Endoscopy procedural department, utilizing the nursing process for diagnosis screening and treatments including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder cases. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients and their confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards for both outpatient and inpatient populations. Monday through Friday hours based on department needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Monday-Friday hours based on department needs
