Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment for assigned patients while maintaining professional accountability. Support endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures, patient education, and recovery care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with Mercy's service standards. Requires GI Lab experience, an active Missouri RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Work as PRN staff at Mercy Hospital Washington.
Required Qualifications
- GI Lab experience
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license in Missouri or Compact State and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and reaching
- BLS (within 30 days of hire if not current)
- ACLS
