Job Summary
Provide patient care in the GI Lab for diagnosis screening and treatments, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder cases. Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability and coordinate care with other departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld while evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Monday-Friday hours based on department needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
