Job Summary
Provide patient care for assigned patients in the GI Lab, including outpatient and inpatient populations undergoing colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder cases. Utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Maintain professional accountability for all direct care provision and ensure duties align with Mercy Service Standards. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Full-time, day shift position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
