Job Summary
Provide patient care in the GI Lab for outpatient and inpatient populations undergoing colonoscopies, endoscopies, and advanced gallbladder procedures. Utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate patient care with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while ensuring all duties align with Mercy Service Standards. Requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of RN experience
