Job Summary
Provide patient care in the GI Lab/endoscopy setting using the nursing process; coordinate care with other departments; uphold patient rights and confidentiality; perform duties in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Responsibilities include supporting minimally invasive procedures (colonoscopy and endoscopy) and caring for both outpatient and inpatient populations, with shift patterns including days, weekend call rotation, and on-call coverage. Requires current RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification; at least 1 year of RN experience. Mercy emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care and opportunities to grow with advanced technology and innovative procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- BSN preferred
