Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients within the Mercy IBD and Gastroenterology Center under the direction of physicians; assist the physician in treatment and complete related clinical paperwork. Communicate with patients, families, visitors and staff in a caring and professional manner; uphold Mercy’s philosophy of care and Christian values. Demonstrate skill in nursing assessments, treatments, safety practices, and use of clinic equipment; adapt to guidelines and policies while maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current valid state license
- CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment
