RN Geri Psych Full-Time Days

Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in an acute care setting, evaluating progress toward expected outcomes. Administer active treatment for injuries, illnesses, or post-intervention conditions while documenting care, medication administration, and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate care and delegate tasks to team members based on patient needs and capabilities, serving as a preceptor, charge nurse, and unit educator. Prioritize patient care using Evidence-Based Practice Standards, practice effective problem identification, and maintain a compassionate, therapeutic environment for patients and families. This role requires a current State of Florida RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC certification depending on the area. One year of acute care nursing experience is required, with two years needed for Hospital Care at Home. The position is full-time, days shift at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL.
