Job Summary
Provide patient care under supervision in the General Surgery unit using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care across departments. Obtain and maintain a current RN license, ensuring compliance with state board requirements and holding Basic Life Support certification. Manage patient rights and confidentiality while performing duties that include pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs, along with prolonged standing and walking. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
