Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision for assigned patients in General Surgery. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Obtain and maintain a current RN license and complete required Basic Life Support certification. Perform duties requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and repetitive physical movements. Work part-time days from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, covering 24 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
