Job Summary
Provide patient care under supervision using the nursing process, maintaining accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care across departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld throughout shifts. Obtain and maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Requires minimum two years of patient care experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs with prolonged standing. Part-time schedule of 24 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
