Job Summary
RN General Medicine - Immediate Hiring at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. Provides direct patient care on Adult Acute Care Medicine units with telemetry, including SLA 3/4/5, V5N/V5W/V4W/Cel 3/Cel 4. Performs assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of patient care; delegates to non-RN staff; operates as Charge Nurse and Preceptor; may work on other units per staffing needs. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment and care, airway management, suctioning for tracheostomy patients, management of patients with Halo braces and ventilators, and patient education. Utilizes Tia Teaching Program; ensures adherence to unit policies; supports patient-centered care, teamwork, and service excellence. Requires Nursing degree (BSN preferred), CT RN licensure, and BLS. Location: Milford, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
