Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, manage preventative health maintenance, and address diagnoses and treatment needs. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association ethics. Work full-time night shifts (12-hour rotations) at the Larimore facility with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
