Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors in a long-term care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state practice acts and American Nurses Association standards. This full-time, 36-hour weekday role offers a $32.50–$48.00 hourly wage with a $30,000 sign-on bonus. The organization provides comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance along with a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
- Must be able to work weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
