Job Summary
Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and execute various nursing interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families. Serve as charge nurse to delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within the job descriptions and resident care needs. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Full-time position with 36 weekly hours, 12-hour night shifts, and no weekend coverage unless picking up extra hours. Sign-on bonus of $30,000.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- 12 Hours - Night Shifts
