Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to evaluate care outcomes, while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice scope. Manage preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment phases, ensuring all interventions align with state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour night shifts with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
