Job Summary

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary providers to plan and evaluate care plans. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure requirements. Work 12-hour night shifts on an every-other weekend and holiday rotation with a weekly schedule of 36 hours. Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to senior housing and services in a Christian environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
