Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of preventative and acute care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providers, and families to plan and evaluate resident outcomes while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure safe administration of care. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and obtain required department-specific certifications. Work full-time 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation, earning $32.50–$48.00 hourly plus a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
