Job Summary
Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents' status while observing and reporting significant changes in behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director. Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants, mentoring Lead Residents in all job aspects, and coordinate care needs with community providers via case management. Effectively balance service demands with supporting resident independence, recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and respond to emergencies using the personal emergency response system. Requires current state RN license, CPR certification, and 1-2 years of nursing experience. Hourly rate $40-$44.50.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an RN
- CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
