Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Operating Room/GI setting while assigning tasks to LPNs and support staff based on skill level. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality and evidence-based practice projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, supervise delegates, and cultivate a collaborative work environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development. Maintain patient and family satisfaction by resolving concerns and advocating for patient-centered communication throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- Compliance with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and training requirements
- Adherence to the company's Code of Business Conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certification in area of specialty
