Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, using the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires practicing within the full scope of nursing knowledge and standards, with emphasis on care coordination, resident education, and comprehensive interventions across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Qualifications include an RN license (unencumbered) with possible multistate licensure; BSN preferred; experience in an accredited nursing program; and ability to obtain required competencies and certifications. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
