Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) at a not-for-profit senior care facility providing individualized nursing care to residents across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, resident education, and collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of resident care. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and adheres to the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Role requires flex availability across days/evenings/overnights; 40 hours weekly with FLEX premium and holiday/weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
