Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, applying the full scope of nursing practice and adhering to state rules. Role requires availability across all shifts (days, evenings, overnights) with a FLEX schedule and includes a $5.00/hr FLEX premium, holiday pay, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package. Education assistance and continuing education opportunities are available; strong emphasis on resident and family collaboration and ongoing care coordination. Licensure and ongoing competencies are required; BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
