Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and codes of ethics, supports flexible shifts (days/evenings/overnights) with FLEX premium and shift differentials, and participates in ongoing education and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- State Board of Nursing licensure where practice occurs (or multistate licensure via NLC)
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
