Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care across preventive, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment activities. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care and addressing care and service concerns. Practices within the scope and standards of nursing as defined by state regulations and professional nursing ethics. Ensures resident education and participates in care coordination, with emphasis on quality outcomes. The role supports a flexible schedule across days, evenings, and nights, and is complemented by opportunities for continuing education, education sponsorships, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (unencumbered)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state preferred
- Current competencies/certifications as required by department
