Job Summary
The RN-Full Time FLEX position provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include resident assessment, care coordination, education, and potential_charge nurse duties and delegation to licensed/unlicensed staff. Requires an unencumbered RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), and ongoing competencies. Flexible shifts (days/evenings/overnights) with a FLEX premium and shift differentials, offering a robust benefits package and opportunities for advancement and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA, Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Flex scheduling ability and availability for all shifts (days/evenings/overnights)
- Ability to coordinate care, assess, educate and collaborate with residents and families
- Experience in nursing process, resident assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Charge nurse role potential and delegation within scope of practice
- Commitment to standards of nursing practice and ethics; compliance with state regulations and agency policies
