Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Delivers care across preventive, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment phases; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel; collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care. Requires RN licensure, eligibility for state-specific practice, and willingness to work flex shifts (days/evenings/overnights) with bonuses/differentials and comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- RN license in the state where practice occurs (unencumbered)
- Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate licensure if applicable
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Maintains required department competencies and certifications
- Background check and drug screen as condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Drug Screen and pre-employment background screening
