Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in this FLEX - LTC role provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all phases of care (preventive, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment). Responsibilities include coordinating care with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel; ensure safe, reliable administration of patient care; adhere to state practice standards and ethics; participate in care planning, resident education, and various nursing interventions. The role supports flexible shifts (days/evenings/overnights) with a FLEX premium, shift differentials, and opportunities for continued education and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing (or multistate license if in an NLC state).
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
